The following links are to sites that I visit and/or endorse.

I am very particular about links that I place in this area.

If I would not visit a link, use a business, recommend it to a family member or a friend then you can rest assured it will not appear on this page.

Massage and Reiki
Mystical Treasures Emporium Reiki Center for Central Alabama
Located in the Mulberry district of Montgomery, Mystical Treasures Emporium, is owned and operated by Phillip Marsh. In March 2010 a physical version of the web store will be opening. Reiki sessions and classes will be available. In addition, an independent contract will be available for massage by appointment. The store is conveniently located nearly I-85.

Reiki sessions will be available from Phillip Marsh, several of his students and possibly others.

In addition, Mystical Treasures Emporium is proud to be able to offer the Rainbow Reiki Body of Light Practitioner class. Phillip (the owner) is one of a small group, less than 20, people in the USA that are certified to teach this class.

  Mana Lomi Reiki & Massage
Located in Ft. Walton Beach. Mana Lomi is owned and operated by two incredible people. Sandy Trimble is a licensed massage therapist in Hawaii and Florida. In addition, she is a Center Licensed Teacher with the International Center for Reiki Training. The second owner is Trisha Gladney, an absolutely charming and effervescent person. She is a licensed massage therapist as well as an independent Reiki Master.

I met Sandy when I went for my Advanced and Master level Reiki training in Livingston Tennessee with Beth Simmons Stapor of the Gateway to Healing (see Tennessee). Sandy was finishing up her training to become a Certified Licensed Teacher with the ICRT. She is another great Reiki teacher.

I met Trisha when I went to their massage center for the Rainbow Reiki Body of Light Practitioner and Instructor training taught by Beth Simmons Stapor (see Tennessee). Vibrant, energetic, a bundle of creative thoughts and ideas - pretty much describes Trisha. During classes I was able to work with her in practice sessions and can attest to the fact that she is a terrific Reiki practitioner.

Sandy, and her business partner Trisha, are in a small group of people in the USA that can teach the Rainbow Reiki Body of Light Practitioner class.

Please visit their website for more information. And if you are down in the area drop in to store - lots of great items. Have a chat, get a massage, have a Reiki session - you will definitely love the experience!

  Gateway to Healing
Located in Livingston Tennessee, Gateway to Healing is owned by Beth Simmons Stapor. She is an Usui, Tibetan and Karuna Reiki Master as well as a Rainbow Reiki Master Instructor and a Rainbow Reiki Body of Light Master Instructor. She is a Senior Licensed Teacher with the International Center for Reiki Training. If that were not enough she has a doctorate in Psychology and is a licensed Certified Counselor and a Licensed Professional Counselor in the State of Tennessee.

Beth is the Reiki Master that attuned me to Advanced and Master level Reiki, Karuna Reiki and Rainbow Reiki Body of Light Practitioner and Instructor.

She is a fabulous teacher!

Stores (Metaphysical or businesses owned by pagans)
Some people might find it strange that I would put links to other stores on my own store's website. Guess I am a strange person.

There are very few metaphysical stores and businesses operated by pagan people in the southern part of the USA. Further, of the stores that exist there are some that I am not comfortable with suggesting to other people.

Stores listed in this area are ones that I have either visited, know the owner, or have been suggested by a trusted friend and that I feel comfortable sending other people to visit.

Listings are in order by state, then by city and then by name.

A quirky combination hippy store, head store and hookah lounge with some witchy stuff throw in for good measure. The store website is run by Linda Kerr - yes, THE Linda Kerr of Moondance and Fall Fling fame.

As of March 2010 I have not yet had a chance to visit the store. A few of my friends have been there and think it is a groovy place to hang.

    Book, Bean and Candle
A fabulous metaphysical store in Birmingham, Alabama with a coffee and tea shop. Many great items and lots of services available. Some may find it strange that I would list another metaphysical store in the links of my own store. Birmingham is a good two hour drive from Montgomery. They serve the greater Birmingham area. Also, this is a store that I will shop at and recommend to others.
    Mystical Treasures Emporium
Hey! Why are you listing your store on your own website? ... Completeness

On March 3rd, 2010, I signed the lease on the building that will be the physical home of Mystical Treasures Emporium. I am in the process of getting the store cleaned up, painted and ready to open the public.

The physical store will have four sections

  1. Coffee - Tea - Soda - Beverage Shop
  2. Metaphysical Supplies - everything you see on the website and much more
  3. Services including Reiki, Massage (by an independent contractor), Tarot readings and more
  4. Classes - Witchcraft, Magick, Herbalism, Reiki to name a few

In addition the store will have rooms available for meetings.

I forgot to mention, free WIFI will be available in the store!

Some come on down, have a drink, check out the store and hang with us.

Yahoo Groups
Montgomery Pagans (formerly Montgomery Wiccans 2)
This group is for Wiccans and open minded pagans in the Montgomery Alabama area.
This is a replacement for Montgomery Wiccans which was deleted by yahoo (we think).
I happen to be the owner of the group. The majority of members did not consider themselves Wiccan. To be more representative of all the members, I changed the name to Montgomery Pagans. Same group, different name. The name change too place at the beginning of 2010. I figured that with the many changes taking place, the beginning of the 1st new decade of the 21st century a change was called for.
