The use of Sacred White Earth, also known as efun, for protection began in the West African regions. When West African people were brutally captured and sold into slavery they brought their native traditions with them. When they were in the Caribbean and no longer had access to efun they began to use the inner bark of the Cascarilla plant which is easily found in the Caribbean. Upon reaching mainland USA and other others this plant could not easily be found and white egg shell was substituted.
Cascarilla (as well as white egg shell powder) is used for protection. It dispels negative energy from an area and also creates a barrier against negative energy. It is also used in purification.
Some uses include: Blow some into each room of your house for seven days. Place some in each corner of each room of your house. Put some at the outside corners of our house. Also you can put a little on your head, hands, feet, chakras, etc. for protection. You can put some into a small bottle and carry it for protection.
