St. Alejo

St. Alejo

Saint Alejo is also known as Saint Alexis, or Saint Alex. He was a monk in the 4th century who lived in anonymity and was known for his dedication to Christ. Greek tradition says that he was a wealthy Christian Roman of senatorial class. He fled is arranged marriage to follow his vocation. He disguised himself as a beggar near Edessa in Syria. He is said to have been unrecognized until an icon of the Blessed Virgin Mary singled him out. He fled and returned to Rome. His appearance was so different his parents did not recognize him. He was taken in and sheltered by good Christians for seventeen years. He stayed in a dark cubbyhole beneath the stairs, praying and teaching catechism to children. After his death, is family found a note on his body telling them who he was, how he had lived of life of penance from the day of his wedding, as well as his love of Jehovah and Jesus.

He is the patron saint of beggars. He is known for chasing away enemies, evil (including the devil and demons), evil, all forms of negative people, gossips, those trying to steal spouses, as well as negative energy. He also protects people from those looking to cause emotional, physical, or spiritual harm.

Invoking the protection of San Alejo can keep you and your loved ones safe from gossipers, abusers, bullies, or any other threat to your safety, well-being, or reputation.

Frequently you will see him adorned in purple or represented by a purple item. His feast day is August 30th.

If you are looking to distance yourself from individuals who mean you harm in any way, you can do the following to help call on San Alejo for his protection. Pray to him to get rid of an abusive spouse, an unwanted guest, or even a malicious spirit or other entity that may be around you or in your home - and make them stay away for good.

You can also call upon San Alejo to help cleanse you and heal you after you have been harmed or abused.

Food of any kind – leave the offering out for a few hours and then spread it for the animals outside as long as the food isn’t something that would harm animals such as chocolate.

Spell to drive away unwanted enemies or people or those trying to steal your spouse/beloved. **Note, if you try to break up a couple by invoking Saint Alejo it is most likely that harm will befall you.

Items needed
1 cup of water
1 purple candle
1 Saint Alejo Oil (optional)
1 Saint Alejo Candle
1 sheet of paper
1 picture of Saint Alejo

Write the full name of the person you want to drive away from you on the top of the paper in LARGE LETTERS! Beneath that write the name again in smaller letters. Repeat writing the name in smaller and smaller letters until you can barely see it.

Carve the name of the person you want to drive away into the purple candle starting from the base and carving up to the wick (the name will be backwards from wick down). You can put a few drops of Saint Alejo on the candle and parchment. If you apply the oil to the candle you need to apply it from base up to wick three times to send the energy out.

Please the candle into a candle holder. Put the paper beneath the candle. Say the following pray:

Oh glorious San Alejo, you who have he power to dispel al the bad that surrounds the Lord’s chosen, I beg you to keep my enemies away from me.

Keep Satan away from me, the Prince of Lies, his evil, the sin. Keep away from me the one who brings me harm (say the name of the person you want to keep away).*

Put me so far from the bad that they shall never see me.

Get me close to the Lord Jeus Christ so that by His divine grace He can shower me with goodness and save me a place in the shade of the Holy Spirit.

Amen.

*If you are trying to drive away someone trying to steal your spouse or beloved then say Drive away (say the name of the person) from me and my spouse/beloved (say their name).


Once the candle has burned out, dispose of the candle. Place the glass of water on top of your refrigerator, or on a shelf, where it will not be disturbed next to a picture of Saint Alejo.

As time passes you should notice that the person is moved from your life or has stopped bothering you. If necessary repeat the process.
