In many parts of the world including the US, rabbits are hunted for food. There are now farms that raise rabbits for food. These feet were saved from a farm that sells rabbit meat.

In my capacity as a trained White Feather Shaman, I have sent blessings and made an energy offering to Grandmother and Grandfather Rabbit, aspects of the Rabbit spirit form, for the rabbits that were killed to provide sustenance for others and whose feet were saved and sold.
